What to expect
Got a joke that’s almost ready? 🎭 A song you’ve been dying to sing? 🎶 A drag number that needs its first outing? 👠 A poem, a story, a spoken word piece, or something wonderfully weird? 🌈 We’re launching Werk In Progress – our brand new queer open mic night, created to give LGBTQ+ performers a safe, supportive space to try new material, build confidence and find their audience. Whether you’re a seasoned performer trying something new or stepping onto a stage for the very first time, we’d love to hear from you. 💌 Want to take part? Slide into our DMs or email hello@birdcagebar.com and tell us a little about yourself and what you’d like to perform. The stage is waiting. The mic is on. Now come and WERK. 💖
